This Privacy Policy explains how Gopher Rally collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit gopherrally.com, request our product catalog, send us an inquiry or otherwise contact us. We are a business-to-business supplier, and the personal data we handle is mainly the business contact details of people who work for our customers and prospective customers.

1. Who we are

Gopher Rally Company (Gopher Rally Co.; “Gopher Rally”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in Taiwan and part of the Gopher Golf group. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

2. What personal data we collect

• Contact details you give us: first and last name, business email address, company name, country and, if you choose to give it, a phone or WhatsApp number, entered in our catalog request or inquiry forms, or sent to us by email, phone or in person, for example at trade shows.
• Inquiry details: the type of request you select, your message, the products and quantities you are interested in, packaging preferences, target delivery dates and shipping destinations, and any logo or artwork files you send us.
• Business correspondence: emails and other messages we exchange with you about quotations, samples and orders.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider. We do not use analytics cookies at the moment. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data, and our website is not directed at children.

3. How we use your data and our legal basis

• To send you the catalog and answer your inquiry, including preparing quotations, samples and product information. Legal basis: your consent, given when you tick the box on our forms, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• To manage our business relationship, including following up on quotations, processing orders and arranging shipments. Legal basis: performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in managing relationships with business customers.
• To send you product news and updates, only if you have separately agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: consent.
• To run, secure and improve our website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure, working website.
• To meet legal obligations, such as tax, accounting and export records. Legal basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who we share it with

• Within our group: our team in Taiwan and our factory and operations team in Dongguan, China, when they need the information to prepare quotations, samples and production for you.
• Service providers who process data on our behalf, such as website hosting, form, email and CRM providers. They may only use the data to provide their services to us.
• Logistics partners such as freight forwarders and couriers, when we ship samples or orders to you.
• Authorities, when we are required to by law.

5. International transfers

We are based in Taiwan, and our factory and operations are in Dongguan, China, so your data will be processed outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and your own country. Where the law requires it, we protect these transfers with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. 6. How long we keep it

We keep inquiry and contact data for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer. Customer and order records are kept for as long as our business relationship continues and afterwards for the period required by tax and accounting law. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data deleted;
• restrict or object to certain uses, including direct marketing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before;
• lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections on our website and access limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will act promptly if a security incident occurs.

We handle personal data in line with Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act and, where it applies to our dealings with people in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR.
